Height reaches 25-30 meters with a diameter of 1 m or more. Bubinga wood is hard and heavy.

Botanical name: Tieghemella heckelii.
Density: about 640 kg/m3
Makor grows in moist high forest in Africa: in Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Ghana. Wood Makor is viscous, hard, strong and very durable.
Sapele (from mahogany)
Botanical name: Entandophragma cylindricum.
Density: about 640 kg/m3
Originally comes from Africa. It grows in large rain forests, extending from Sierra Leone to Angola, and in an easterly direction, crossing the Zaire to Uganda.
Ebony (from ebony)
Botanical name: Diospyros celebia.
Density: about 1190 kg/m3
Ebony grows in Sri Lanka and South India. Wood is dense and tough. Such kind of wood is difficult for manual and machine processing.
